I have a Sony GX47ES I picked up at a garage sale for $20 hooked to my Bose AM-5 speakers and sub. It freaquently haults all audio output and displays a flashing red "P" on the digital panel. If anyone knows what this is and why it occurs, please let me know. Thanks thatsinsane |

It is going into "protect Mode". Could be a fault in your speaker connections (check for a short) or it cannot handle the impdeance load of your speakers. |

Okay, so what can I do about this problem? (Sorry I'm a bit of a noob here.) Also, I have a wicked "buzz" coming from the speakers. .. I've verified the wiring is right yet it still buzzes and is getting very annoying. Help? |
