hey guys,
my velodyne sub recently started popping when I would make certain adjustments on my receiver (i.e. changing sources, changing audio modes -basically anytime the audio signal is changed). Other than that, the sub works fine but I'm afraid the popping will eventually break it.
I hooked up the same sub and cable to another receiver and the popping disappeared but for some reason, there seems to be some sort of SNAFU when connected to my elite receiver. I've had the sub on both "auto" and "ON" but no luck.
The sub is a velodyne DLS-series sub..connected on the sub out on the reciever.
On the receiver, the sp settins are as follows
Front: Large
Center: Small
Rear: Large
Surround: Plus

Raimund, try the speaker level inputs to the sub.
And size down the front setting. |
