Hello everyone
i was getting no reply in the amplifier section so i thought i would ask in here.

I plan on getting a amp to power subs in my room. Do i have to hook the amp up to a reciever or can i hook it up to anyhtign that has volume control and can play cds. I already have a 3 disc mini system type thing. Can i use the main unit of this to hook the amp up to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to keep it simple and DIY check these: http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?webpage_id=3&SO=2&&DID=7&CATID=43&Object Group_ID=505
Pick your subwoofer, build your box, install amp and you're done.

Want ready made: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?DID=7&PartNumber=300-632

The subwoofer amps have inputs that accept the speaker leads from your mini-system and outputs that you connect to your speakers. If you have any questions, just ask ;)
