I would like to build up a mid level home theatre system and I need help in choice of an amp between Onkyo 696, Marantz 6200, Marantz 6300 and Pioneer 811s. On a benchmark test, which performs better? I hope to run a DVD-Audio.

Hi,
Go go for the marantz sr6300, i've got it at home believe me it's the ultimate amp ever made for a mid level home theater.

I have to agree with Anon--the Marantz 6300 is easily the best of the receivers on your list. |
