This player plays CD's I purchased but refuses to play those I burned myself? I burned them CDA with Nero.
What am I doing wrong?

Many possibilities. May be you burned it on a RW media. Or may be you actually burnt a data CD and not an audio CD. Cross check what media is acceptable to the player.

Another possibility -
You're in the wrong section. Try the CAR AUDIO section of the home audio section.
