Hi all, just got my first HiFi set of the configuration above. Any opinions, recommendations appreciated. I had actually auditioned the Rotel RA-02 with RCD-02 and Marantz PM7200 and CD7300 in hope of better synergy since they are of the same brand. I found the Rotel combo a little to harsh for prolong listening, though I love its clarity and details. Marantz, on the other hand, was at the other extreme. Therefore I settle on this best-of-both-world combo. While I was there, I also tried the bigger 12L speakers but feel that they may be a little boomy for my 10' x 12' bedroom. The 11Ls are sitting on unfilled SolidSteel stands with QED Qudos cables. For now I am just using the Interconnect that come with the CD player. |
