I'll keep it short.
I have the wharfedale diamond 8.1s. I will be getting an integrated amp at xmas, probably the cambridge audio 540a.
I would like a subwoofer that is good for music and Im looking at the wharfedale powercube 8a. I knows its discontinued but theres still a couple about which is why i've posted this now. Another option could be the tannoy efx?
Music I listen to is mostly metal and rock, odd bit of jazz and trance/techno stuff.
Anyone have any suggestions for a subwoofer that IS NOT more than the price in the title. Maybe a tenner or so over but that really is my budget.
Note: I dont want overpowering bass so power isnt an issue, a smallish sub to leave the diamonds more to deal with the midrange and highs.
