I have this exact receiver:

However, the secondary display doesn't work(no big deal as it just permanently displays what the main display shows temporarily when a setting is changed), the center channel on the 'A' setup doesn't work (but it works on the 'B' setup), the flip down panel is busted off on one side, and it has cosmetic damage to the top right (not horrible, but not slight either). Video output is a bit faded as well, but that could have always been there.
Sounds absolutely perfect, and I use the 'B' setup. Looks flawless when it's tucked into a shelf setup-easily rivals seperates and other high end brands. The most amazing part is how massive the caps are(I put a US quarter on the top of one, each is about as tall as a new pencil): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v346/illuminator321/DSCN2650.jpg
My question: I'm wondering how much I might get out of this? I'm thinking 200-300? I'll probably list it on ebay...

I bought it brand new for $3,000 back in '98.
It was Onkyo's flagship receiver. Their new flagship receiver has a hard time comparing to this one.

I tohught onkyo Amps suck!, that one looks pretty beefy! what are the capes for? i no what the power transmitor are for but what about the caps |
