That's a good point. I always wondered how he listened to his own voice and somehow did not decide that someone else could sing his songs much better.

LOL!!!! Stof, I've always wondered the same. Often profound lyrics lost in a mouth full of oatmeal with vocal chords long since burned up by "one toke over the line" to quote Brewer and Shipley. And that was when he could still sing, relatively speaking.
