I am in a process of selecting tower speakers for my living room. The room size is roughly 450sq.ft. I have auditioned Cervin Vega and Energy Speakers and I have liked them both. Can you guys help me select the right speaker. I listen to all kinds of music. Which is a budget amp/receiver that would drive these speakers?-Thanks

What's your budget for speakers? The reason why I ask is because I have no idea how much the Energy speakers cost. If your budget is $300, though, then I would avoid tower speakers altogether and get a good set of bookshelves instead.

My budget is around $750-$800. I have decided to buy Tower speakers and have found both Energy and Cervin vega good. Now, as you suggest bookshelves can you suggest how do i build a good hometheatre in that budget. which is a good receiver to power this speaker system.
