I want to add one to my seperates system. Budget £180 max. Pref. it should play WMA too. I have seen one by Tangent but surely there are more? |

What is wrong with a regular CD player that plays MP3s just as well? Or a DVD player that can handle the same task. Surely, you don't think that a compressed audio format sounds better if there is a dedicated component for it? |

Well Berny, the system is my room. The DVD player is downstairs. I have an extra CD input on the AMP. I have so much music on MP3 CDs. I was thinking either this or a dedicated hard drive player. I know MP3 is not all that which is why I would like to play my WMA files which have been saved / sampled in CD rivaling quality - if not better. |

The thing to do is get another DVD/CD/mp3/WMA player. Then just pretend that it is regular mp3 player that plays other media There really is no reason to purchase a dedicated mp3 cd player when a multi media player will do just as well. |

Punjabi, Play from the computer. If this is in convenient, why not get an iPod? Seriously. You can have mp3 or anything you like. Except WMA. If you have access to a second computer, you can easily convert WMA files to another format. Just play and record. |
