Check out the features you want then search the web and auction sites. Also check the reviews.

How much is a NAD C521BEE? It's a good little unit.

Regards,
Frank.

I would go with a Cambridge Audio 540c v.1
hands down...get some great bang for the buck connects from www.signalcable.com - the ones that are $50 for a 1 meter set - I installed them after I got my pre-owned 540 v.1 and was blown away by the difference in sound. There's no need to spend a ton of money on cables, these babies sound every bit as good as cables that I tested with the unit that cost $500..no kidding...
check them out.

Raider:

I know you said no player over $320, but frankly, you can get a killer NAD 542 for just a few dollars more. DMC Electronics (dmc-electronics.com) is currently offering factory refurbished NAD C542s for $349. a Great player in its own right and a killer for that price. Just an idea . . .

Wow, that is a great price for an excellent little player. The NAD C542 retails for nearer $500 in the UK!

Raider, if you can go the extra couple of cds-worth, that's an excellent little machine.

Regards,
Frank.

Raider, we are most likely just practicing typing here since it's nearly a month later, but I agree with Hawk and Frank about the C542.They are $699 new here in Aus and worth every cent. Extremely happy with mine.
