i have a cheap no name dvd player i bought for like 30 bucks...i use the fibre optic plug to my reciever to get the 5.1 channel...my ? is if i buy a more expensive dvd player would i get better sound from music or movies...im only intrested on sound quality only not better picture....although my cheap dvd player sounds good to my ears i would realy be intrested in buying a more expensive one if it would improve the sound quality....my system is a HK avr330 reciever and athena speakers...please help |

Try to find a dealer who will let you bring a demo unit home as a trial, (or take advantage of CC or BB's liberal return policy). You say you're satisfied with your $30 unit, but only you can answer whether or not you'll be 10x more satisfied with a $300 player. Your ears, your decision. |

well i dont realy mean im 100% satisfied with my cheap dbd player sound...if a more expansive one will sound better then id rather get that ......so has anyone listened to a cheap one versus a more pricey one and heard a differance in sound quality....please tell me |
