i bi amp my speakers (KEF Q1), the speakers themselves will need four connections at the back. two for high Frequency and two for low frequency, then to bi amp them u will need a intergated amp for normally the high frequency and then a power amp for the low frequency. If u don;t have the power amp u could bi wire where all the eight connections will go into the back of the same amp, i bi amp and its much better than bi amping because it spilts the sound. i use the arcam A75 and P75. you would normally use the same make of amp to bi amp so the power amp and intergrated are made my the same company. Hope this helps, not sure on your kit so can;t help in that way. |

The VSX 53 can biamp the fronts with the front and rear center amps if using a 5.1 setup. The manual will help with this matter also. |
