Odd question I know but heres my scenario. I just envested a big pile of money in speakers and a dvd player and am really finally nociting sound quality differences. I alwayse loved the quality of my ipod, and thought my satellite radio was "pretty good" untill I listened to a regular cd upsampled through my dvd player. I was blown away. Now I cant stand listning to my music from my ipod cause I know the quality difference, only problem is that I bought all my music from itunes so, I dont have a higher quality copy. Is there anyway that I can upsample the audio from my ipod? The other problem is my dell inspiron 8500 has a digital coax output, however it sounds very very hollow, any idea what this could be caused by? Is the best solution a really nice usb soundcard with ditital output? How can I get the best sound from my digital music?
