I want to hook up my car subs and amp in my home to my home theater. I have everything i need except a power supply that changes ac to dc. I want to get one I just dont know how many amps i need in order to power my amp ok...I have a sony 2200gtx 1200w max amp. any help would be apreciated.

A better thing would be to sell the whole set-up and buy a subwoofer made for the home.

Your ohms has to be the same on the subwoofers as the amplifier. probably is an 8 ohm amp.
