I've got 2 S12L5's(car subs) hooked up underneath my desk ...
powered by a crown xls-602, and using a marantz 2230 as a pre-amp... for some reason it seems when theres weight at a certain spot beside the box they are a lot louder...
by a lot i mean if theres no weight there, then theres basically no movement at all when volume is at max, and when there is weight there, at about 40% on the reciever the subs are pretty much hitting xmax...
and sometimes when i move the reciever a bit it'll do the same... when i press on the casing of the reciever in the right spot it'll fix it...

I'm lost as to what the hell is going on...
Anyone have an idea?
