Interestingly enough, some of the older equipment I work on uses these DAC's in their applications.

Combination weighers, using Burr-Brown DAC's converting analog values from strain gauges to digital for weigh values, sent to amplifier cards and sent to cpu for calculations.

wouldn't they be Burr Brown ADC's as opposed to DAC's?
