It is what it is. In the context of nothing else, it is a reasonable product. It could prove to be a disastrous choice or a way to get sound on a budget. How would we know from what has been said? If you start to say I want to pair it with this or that speaker or component, then there's something to discuss. If the question would be asked should I buy this receiver or get something else, then there's something to discuss. If the matter of matching a receiver to a person's desires for sound quality were the issue, it certainly hasn't been brought up in the discussion so far. As is, the question is as pertinent as, "What do you think of ice cream cones?"

Those waffle cones can sound awefully warm and sugar cones can sound very ...coloured. Bose may know better
