hello,

Ive been told by several people that i should calibrate my subwoofer. ive ordered a spl meter from radio shack and havent recieved it yet. also i downloaded some test tones. im new to calibration and know little about it.

after i get the spl meter ill have what i need. the only problem is that i have no idea what to do next. Im not sure what to measure and how to do it. basicly what ive grasped about calibrating is you want all ur speakers at roughly the same db levels. am i right in this assumption?

Any information that would allow me to calibrate my sub would make my life easier. so far nobody has answered any of my questions. i need the basics any any other info.

thanks,
andrew

Something for you to read and hopefully it will help you set up your Home Theater.
