Hey, I have a sony mhc-rg20 mini system. On the front it has the red, white, and yellow inputs, and on the back it has a yellow video in input. On my TV I have video 1 and video 2 inputs. How would I hook my stereo up to my TV to watch cable? I can only get my DVD player to work on the stereo's speakers! |

Do you have a VCR? It sounds like your TV has no audio "output" to send to your mini-system's "input". The work-around is to use the audio "output" from your VCR (preferably Hi-Fi Stereo) to send audio to your stereo. Now use the VCR's video output to feed a picture to the TV which is now being used as a monitor. Get it? The TV stays on "video" or channel "3", and the channels are changed through the VCR Sure the VCR will have to be on when ever you watch TV, but you'll have vastly better sound. |
