This is a nice subwoofer and I enjoyed it for about a year, just past the warranty date. Then the sucker blows a fuse, which requires me to remove around 15 screws to get to it. The fuse is a 6.5 amp 125 volt fuse which I have been unable to find. I send it off for repair and they tell me $200 because a capaciter is blown. I paid $250 for the speaker. Has anyone had an issue like this and been able to repair themselves? Does anyone know where I can get a 6.5 amp 125 volt fuse? Thanks Bruce |

Was it a glass fuse? Was it blackened when you looked at it, or just open? Did it have a little coil inside it? What are the letters and numbers on it? |
