I recently received a JVC DVD Home Theater System without any speakers or sub. I would like to find a compatible powered subwoofer. The input needs to be 8 pin DIN. I'm not sure where to begin to look or if it's possible to find. Are there manufacturers that use an 8 pin DIN and sell the sub independently?

Not very likely. Check eBay for the sub that came with ths system. This is the only way to hook it up?
