No. Look into Hsu and SVS subs first. Or the Mirage S12 if Vanns.com still has them.

Infinity subs suck, but if that's all you have available then I'd assume the more you pay the less it'll suck.

What is it that suck about them.
I mean i don't need a sub wich goes under 20hz or something.
Just a good sub for leastening to music and watching movies. I doesn't have to create an earthshake, i just need civilized bass and don't want to pay too much for it!

let's see: they are weak (low output), dirty (lots of distortion) and overrated (don't go as low as their numbers claim).

See if you can find a Wharfedale or Mission sub instead.

If you're going to buy an Infinity sub I would recommend one that has a CMMD woofer instead of a MMD. There less prone to any cracking of the diaphragm.
Infinity do make good bass, but the best one I see currntly that they offer (in terms of my own ears) is the one that's only available with the Modulus 5.1 system.

There's a Velodyne dealer in Holland - maybe you could check out some of their equipment. I think you'll find a better sub than any of Infinity's stand alone subs.
