No. Look into Hsu and SVS subs first. Or the Mirage S12 if Vanns.com still has them. |

Infinity subs suck, but if that's all you have available then I'd assume the more you pay the less it'll suck. |

What is it that suck about them. I mean i don't need a sub wich goes under 20hz or something. Just a good sub for leastening to music and watching movies. I doesn't have to create an earthshake, i just need civilized bass and don't want to pay too much for it! |

let's see: they are weak (low output), dirty (lots of distortion) and overrated (don't go as low as their numbers claim). See if you can find a Wharfedale or Mission sub instead. |

If you're going to buy an Infinity sub I would recommend one that has a CMMD woofer instead of a MMD. There less prone to any cracking of the diaphragm. Infinity do make good bass, but the best one I see currntly that they offer (in terms of my own ears) is the one that's only available with the Modulus 5.1 system. There's a Velodyne dealer in Holland - maybe you could check out some of their equipment. I think you'll find a better sub than any of Infinity's stand alone subs.
