I recently purchased a 5th wheel. It came with a cheap Curtis DVD home theater. Sounds is OK except the base is nil. Do to size issues, I can not replace the home theater system. I have an old computer speaker system with powered subwoofer I am not using. Will I do any harm by splicing the wires on the Computer Subwoofer and attaching it to the sub out on the stereo, creating a very small powered subwoofer that will fit into area I need?

Thanks for the help

You can make it work, just don't expect too much out of it.
