Looking for more grip and authority from my system. I very much like the mid and highs from my Arcam a65plus and rather than changing the amp or speakers (I think mine are capable) am wondering about people's experience with Arcam's P80 amp is and what the best setup is (ie biamped with a65 or running all speaker cables off the P80). Wondering mostly if the P80 can maintain the wonderful subtle midrange of my a65.
New here and any help VERY much appreciated.
Rest of the system: Arcam cd73, B&W cm2 speakers, Van den hull 102 mk3 interconnect, Kimber 8vs speakercable.

Just to clarify the problem is at lower volumes - which is how I normally listen. The bass comes alive (though a bit detached) and the soundstage opens up at higher volumes (guesstimating 80db). I listen to all kinds of music and have already spent countless hours tweaking the speaker placement (speakers are on filled stands, slightly toed-in, about 20in from rear wall)
