Hi,

I'd like to troubleshoot this problem before I declare to anyone and everyone that the Airport Express is just plain useless. Once I finally got the thing connecting and working (that was a pretty unintuitive process in and of itself), I'd still have trouble keeping it playing with stability.

It'll play part of a song and then just go quiet and, worse, be unresponsive to i-Tunes. (Sometimes it will stall and come back, but not much of that lately). I might get it back if I restart the song, or sometimes i have to restart the computer. Anyone out there successfully troubleshoot something like this?

Baffles me given that I live in a 400 sq ft studio!! And there is a pretty clear line of sight to the device (which I figure shouldn't really be required, but...)

My setup:

Windows XP connected (wirelessly) to a wireless linksys router (with two phone ports). Phones are also cordless, probably 2.4 GHz, which I currently have turned off.

Airport Express connects to an Onkyo Receiver pushing 6.1 channels.

Would love some advice. Thanks to anyone knowledgeable.

Keithan
