Because I'm a nut, I would like to build a killer office system with my Beyerdynamic 880 cans, a Woo headphone amp (don't yet have), and a source as yet to be determined. I'm looking for something preferably audiophile-quality and COMPACT, that could sit maybe on top of the computer under the desk relatively unobtrusively. Would like to stay under $300 tops. Suggestions?

Stu, Thanks for the reply! I found this: Tivoli makes a great little player for $200. Very compact and snazzy looking. Might sound good, too. Local dealer has them. |

I've heard some good things about them, but haven't listened to them. I think it's a quality product that doesn't make outrageous claims and charge even more outrageous prices, such as the Bose Wave Radio. If it sounds good, fits your application and budget, I'd say why not? |
