i got and arcam a85 with multichannel board, and a pair of dynaudio focus 140's up front. thats all. but i'm starting now to save towqards a multichannel music-mostly system,

what i cant decide on is whether to get 220 floorstanders for up front and use the 140's as rears

or

get focus 110's (or audience 42/52's?) for the rears and a sub (dynaudio sub300 or rel strata)

option 1 gives perfectly integrated stereo bass, and better rears, while option 2 lets me equalize for a flatter freq response, and it will go a bit lower.

i probably wont be able to home audition, so any opinions specific to these brands/models, or just any opinions about the sub/sat vs floorstander issue might gelp me decide what i'm looking for.

thanks

and if anyone has any opinion about how well the audience line would timbre match with the focus line?

also, are the 42'2 better than the 42W's for rear speakers in a music setup?

cheers
