I am trying to get my sub back into a different model of Toyota. I thought the 4 Runner would be the same wiring as I had for the same year Solara. The problem I have is the speakers are in the door instead of the trunk. I have the wiring diagram and tried to splice into the back speaker wires behind the radio. It did not work.

Post this in the Car Audio Forum. You will get a pretty fair amount of responses from that area. This is Home Audio.
