I have Bose Acoustimass-7 (yeah I bought it based on the name without researching) and would like to replace my rear KLH speakers (they came free with the receiver).
I currently have a Technics Pro Logic receiver but plan to upgrade to a 6.1 or 7.1.
Currently I only use the speakers for DVD's, CD's, radio & broadcast television.
There are no audiophiles in the family, so we just want decent sound for the average person.
The system is in a large room with 9 feet vaulted ceilings.
I'm looking at Bose but have seen a lot of good write ups on Infinity 150.
Any suggestions on rear speakers or should we ebay the Bose Acoustimass-7 and start from scratch?

Personally i'd ebay the acoustimass and start from scratch.

Very few movies are presented in 7.1 or even 6.1. I would get the front three speakers RH & LH are most important, then center channel. I would next get a real sub (svs subs come highly recommended price/perfomance), the "bass module" with your bose is a joke. The surrounds you could deal with the KLH till you saved up $ for the other 2 speakers, then if you NEED 7.1 move the KLH to 7.1 until you can save for the next two.

thats my .02
