I got my new video ipod for Christmas and it has taken a bit of time to work out how to use it properly. I thought I had it cracked until today.

I transfered some MP3 songs from a disc which I bought from ebay. When I was trying to find the songs last night on my ipod I found that they were not in alphabetical order. The reason for this is that they have the track number before the song.

I thought it would not be a problem because I could just edit it using the get info button. However, when I try this the song title is greyed out so I cannot do it.

I tried putting the disc in and editing from the disc. Although I can edit the song titles from the disc, it will not keep them like that as it says that it is a "read only disc".

Please tell me there is a way around this!!!! It is bugging the hell out of me.
