How? Added the 4 spikes to the bottom of each speaker. Totally different sound! And I always thought the spikes were to keep them from being tipped over on the carpet...LOL! |

Silly Me, Mass Loading will help those boomy Paradigm speakers too. I put 4 ceramic tiles on top of each of my SDAT sb-e639d speakers and this was across the board improvement! I also put weights on all my components too, 10 pounds on each component |

I took a dump on John Wagners components and I tell you afterwards it was like I was listening to a system that cost 10x more. |

lol... I thought you already had them in. never thought to ask. sorry. see what I mean silly me? it really isnt that bad of a speaker... is it? you just have to give them a chance, or put the spikes on them :-) but, now you see what a difference the spikes can REALLY make. |

nuck, a word to the wise, I have been told that most dealers DO NOT have the spikes in for ease of moving the speakers around in the showroom. So, if yours doesnt, see if they will put them in for you, or do an at home audition. I think you will be pleasently surprised. |

Thanks Gavin, Mine are old, and I must seek aftermarket, or make some. Looking for the old thread on spikes, et al., Frank was good on that one. Cheers. |
