Ive got a Yamaha RX 360 reciever 75x2 watts per channel, it is somewhat ancient 1993, I currently have it hooked up to some older Infinity floor speakers from the late 80's, am looking at the Infinity Primus 360 as an upgrade, would these work well with my reciever or should I go and get a new receiver first. I've got about $750 available. Basically just want a richer fuller sound, my Klipsch Promedia 5.1's hooked to an Audigy 2 for my computer sound better than my floor speakers at this point.

I would suggest upgrading both speaker and receiver.

A Harman Kardon HK3480 would run you about $275 from jr.com

With the other 475 you can definately find yourself a pretty good pair of speakers. I would check out the Athena AS-F2.2 from audioadvisor.com for 399 in that regard.
