Do any of the radio receivers for those satellite radio services have a digital outpout, optical or coax?
I might be interested in satellite radio, but not if I have to take the sound from some cheap digital to audio processor in those gadgets.
I presume the sound is not the best it could be.
I ran into a retired musician who had a little XM receiver hooked up to a Bose clock radio, and thought it was pretty hot. That is not my idea of the way to listen to music.
I want to feed it into a good external DAC, most likely in my home theater receiver.
Thanks for the input.

The Polk XRt12 Tuner has both optical and coaxial digital outputs.
