I am building a sound system from scratch, and seeking some advice. Thought I would start with the speakers and work backwards. Listen mainly to soul, funky, jazz and some rock. Wanting good build quality, crispness in midrange and warm sound. The space for the system is open like a studio appartment measuring 7 by 3 by 2.5 m, so thinking standmount speakers. The budget, all up, well lets say around $5K. |
