-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am trying to make a decision whether to buy the Yamaha RXV 2600 - Denon 3806 or Onkyo 803? I am using it primarily for home theater to feed my brand new Samsung HLR 6168W. I will also use it for music but now as much. I have a larger room 20x20 with 12 foot ceilings and have JBL LX66 for the fronts (excellent old school towers), Jamo center channel and JBL E30's for surrounds. Your opinion would be appreciated. |

Dan, First of all, this really belongs in the Receivers section, "receiver" being the generic name for "surround sound amp with tuner". I rate the 3806 quite highly and from what I've seen you can get it for around $950 which is a really good price. Look in the Receivers and Speakers threads for more on that. Regards, Frank. |
