I'm looking for a 2 channel IA between $200-600 that will work well with my Totem Mite speakers (see thread http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/1/105572.html). The only glitch is that I need the IA to also function as an alarm clock; meaning the amp displays the time even when it is off and turns the sound on at a set time (preferably I'd like the sound to increase grandually when the alarm activates just like the JVC stereo systems do). |

I should add that I'd also be happy with a non-integrated amp. |

mmall, maybe you need your Mom to live there and kick your butt out of bed. Just buy the JVC then. |

I don't want to buy the JVC because the sound isn't high quality and the system comes with speakers which I don't need. As for the question about my mom, I just moved out a few months ago and I'd rather buy a fully functional receiver than move back in with my parents.

You can try the NAD L53 which is an all-in-one stereo machine (DVD/Tuner/amp/clock-timer). Should work reasonably well with Mites, though I haven't tried it myself. Regards, Frank. |
