I have a chance to purchase some of these ancient speakers for $95, but I was wondering if these speakers compare in sound quality with modern speakers. Any help is appreciated |

The Monitor and SDA series from Polk is back when the company was very serious about its stereo. Despite these lines being two decades old (when considering the earliest incarnations)... I find there is hardly a better value in the used marke - provided you are OK with a larger speaker in the room. The Monitor 10's are compotent speakers and for $95 - is practically a steal. I'd take any of the SDAs or Monitors over any of the LSi speakers today. In short - GRAB EM'.
