My reciever has been shutting off when i pass a certain volume. it doesn't happen when i have the reciever set to "STEREO" but it does it on any surround sound mode. i have tried 2 different recievers, and 2 entirerly different sets of speakers. i have tried running the red/white audio wires directly from the t.v.(Hitachi 65" HD) to the rec. and also straight from the cable box(Comcast) to the reciever. i need help please. e-mail is bricktop617@yahoo if you know any links that might help. thanks guys.

What volume? Maybe you just need to not play at that volume.
