that's what i'm planing for home audio vs conventional recivers and speakers, the fact is some people have loud parties in their own homes and some times the receivers have over heated, or just simply want natural flat sound that monitor speakers can deliver. As music source I'm using one of my pc's that I only use for music ( via w/media player , and i've heard there's better than that ). My question now is : will the quality of sound ( using the above mentioned components )be comparable to that of a high end home-audio system ? ( better or worst ? )
