I am upgrading from a Sony str ga 7es for my HT. My front speakers are Sonus Faber Minuettos and a Sonus Faber Piccolo center. A energy xl 12 sub and Paradigm atom rears.This system is used primarily for DVD's and HDTV etc,not music.I have considered the NAD 773 but really didn't want to spend that type of money. Any comments on the HK unit or alternatives would be highly appreciated.I would be willing to spend more if it were wothwhile for the intended purpose as described. room is 15x22 and low ceiling (bsement) tx for all input

I'd be interested in comments on this model too and how it compares to a similar priced NAD receiver.
