okay i have a Marantz CD-60 since 1991 , but i havent tried that thing since 1999 but its working and nothing is wrong with it , i also just got a Samsung DVD-HD850 dvd player here r the audio specs for the dvd player:

Frequency Response 96/48KHz
Signal to Noise Ratio 110Db
Dynamic Range 100Db

Also if it helps they r connected to a HK AVR-70 Amp and i mostly listen to rock..i just wanted to know which device would give me better overall sound quality ? (bass/treb/mid) and would i notice an audible difference in sound quality&why?
