Hi there, We have had our Kenwood vr-707 krf-v6070d for over a year but recently we bought new cables for the DVD and subwoofer. In the process of determining we needed new cables we probably played with the receiver quite a bit. Just since then we have been unable to get any sound from the left speaker when watching TV in either stereo, pro logic, play move or play music. It has a slight fuzzy sound. The left speaker works for all other modes, ie jazz, stadium etc. When we use the test mode it also has sound coming out of the speaker. I've tried setting up the speakers again but the setup for the left speaker is the same as the right. The manual hasn't been able to help me beyond this. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for to get over this? Thanks Leanne |

Try switching your cables around to narrow down the culprit. |

Thanks for the advice. A question - is it the rca cables you are referring to or the speaker cables? |

RCA cables. If you are doing the speaker set-up and sound is coming from all the speakers, that means all your speaker wires are fine, because the reciever is the one generating the source noise. |
