Hi, I'm shopping for a new pair of speakers and while I had it narrowed down to either PSB 2Bs, Paradigm Monitor 3s or Energy C3s, I'm seeing a local retailer selling Mordaunt Short 914 floorstanders for $499 CAN a pair. The internet is very lean on information on these speakers, so I was hoping someone here could give me some info on how these compare to the other ones I was considering (floorstander vs bookshelf notwithstanding). Are these MSs a good value? How is that price? These will be driven (for now) by an NAD 302. Thanks

I don't know about the 914s but I have the 906 towers, 902 bookshelfs and they're great sounding speakers. The price seems right as I paid over $500 for my 902s three years ago.
