My yamaha reciever will not let the HDCP from my comcast box talk to my TV but the DVD player never had a problem. Any codes to turn HDCP on the reciever off like i did with the DVD player? Or maybe someone else had had luck? |

it boils down to HDCP. I'm trying out how to turn it off on the cable box. When I do it will work. |

You can't really turn it off, however some cable boxes leave the warehouse with the dvi or hdmi outputs disabled. If you local cable office is nearby, you might take it to them and ask them to exchange it for one that has those outputs enabled. |

The output is enabled. I get the picture and audio and they are amazing compared to the componet cables.... the problem is that the picture flickers off and on again after 20 seconds and then the screen will blink green black green black green black. |
