I personally feel that the clarity puts out a sufficient amount of bass all on its own for music. HT on the other hand requires a sub. I am posting this to try to disreguard the nimrod that seems to think that a cheap ghetto blalster car audio subwoofer will match with some of the most sophisticated, best sounding home audio speakers on the planet. but, his mentality is probably "dude if they don't play as loud as the stacks at the hip-hop show, and have as much bass than they suck."
