i want to interface with my marantz 2270 so i can have additional inputs for accessories, ie. cd player/recorder, cassette player etc. there are not enough inputs in the 70 to accept all of the devices i want to use. is there a way to gain additonal inputs? appreciate you guidance. |

What a great old receiver. I had one for a while. How does it sound these days? I've been through the input problem. Radio Shack has selector boxes that will solve the problem. I've run into plenty of these at garage sales. Got one made by Sony for 3 tape recorders that lets you match up 3 inputs with 3 recorders. Has push bottons, real nice. Also saw one by DBX that has tons of input/output jacks. On used ones you may need to clean the contacts for the switches. Try Caig DeOxit. Hope this helps. |

Here is the model number for that Sony switcher: Tapecorder selector SB-300 Perhaps you can find it through eBay. It is a very solid, heavy unit from Sony's glory days. It has three tape inputs, can go tape to tape from any combination, and can select tape or source from all three. It uses pushbuttons that would match the old Sony reel to reels. Hope this helps. |
