How do they sound? Decent for two channel stereo? I have a co-worker that is willing to part with a pair for next to nothing and I seem to remember them being pretty well reviewed in the sub $300.00 speaker category some years back. Any input from owners or listeners would be appreciated. Thanks

not bad for 2 channel. Don't expect too much on the lower frequencies and watch the tweeters, they have a nice detailed sound but the high frequency drivers failed on mine, twice! I replaced them and gave them to a friend of mine and he still enjoys them.
