I have a dilemna that I can't get a decent answer for. I have a pair of Bose Series V 901's with equalizer and a pair of 601's. My dad gave me the 901's and they have hardly been used so please don't suggest new speakers. I want the 2 set of speakers on different floors in my townhome. The problem is finding the right receiver. The Bose help line people tell me I need a receiver that has either a tape monitor or pre amp out/main in. I have been searching and calling all different manufacturers help lines and I can't get a decent response to save my soul. Can anyone help me with a suggestion for a receiver that won't cost me a fortune. Thank you |

Get new speakers! What is the problem here? If you are trying to get two separate sound for the two floors then get a receiver with 2 zones. There are lots on the market that don't cost alot.

I don't see any indication that two zone operation is being required. I believe I answered this question in the speakers portion of the forum. Did I not give a decent response?

Thank you very much Jan, I appreciate it. Yes, I posted on Equalizers, Receivers, and Speakers. Sorry, but I was desperate and really happy to have found this site. |
